Rainbow - Week 10 - Farmer Duck

Our Drawing Club focus this week has been Farmer Duck; the children loved the story! The children are all trying very hard to remember their capital letters, finger spaces and full stop. 

In Maths we have been looking at doubles. We know that to be a double, the parts must be equal. For example, 2 and 2 makes 4, the parts are the same. 

In RE, we continued learning about Easter. We learnt about hot cross buns, and how the cross on them helps us to remember Jesus dying on the cross. Most of us tried a hot cross bun, and really enjoyed them! Mrs Gajjar taught us about Palm Sunday as it is coming up this Sunday. 

Linking to our topic 'Ready Steady Grow' we played a game matching animals with their babies.
