Rainbow - Week 11 - Easter

 What a lovely last week of term we have had!

In Literacy we read the 'Tadpole's Promise' and the children drew and wrote what they think will happen next in the story, they had some great ideas. 

In Maths we started to look at odd and even numbers. We looked at the Numberblocks and noticed that if they have flat tops, they are an even number, and if they were an 'odd block' they were an odd number. 

We had a great Spring walk to Streamwoods with our buddies, looking for signs of Spring. We made sticky strips with some of the interesting objects we found in the woods. 

We have made lots of Easter/Spring creations too; chocolate nests, cherry blossom painting, Easter egg painting, designing our own Easter egg and weaving an Easter egg!
