Rainbow - Week 11 - In Every House in Every Street

This week we had lots of discussions on what happens in different rooms. We made lots of colourful houses. Some made houses from junk modelling, lego, wooden bricks and duplo.

We couldn't go to forest school as it was closed, but they children enjoyed hunting for different types of leaves, and getting creative with leaf rubbing.

Our drawing club book has been 'The Tiger who came to tea'. Our favourite word this week has been slurping, and some children were using this word during their play in the home corner, making lots of yummy drinks.

In Maths we have been looking at the composition of 3, 4 and 5. We looked at the number parts that make the whole number. For example, the parts of 3 are 2 and 1. We made our own stampolines with paint, just like the Numberblocks!

The children are doing amazing with their reading and phonics, please keep up the good work at home. Mrs Markowicz, Miss Walker and I are super proud of their progress!
