Rainbow - Week 3 - Goldilocks and The Three Bears

Our story topic for this week has been Goldilocks and the three bears. The children enjoyed coming up with where they think Goldilocks ran away to, and we wrote a letter from Goldilocks to the bears to say sorry. Most of the children tried some porridge. Majority of the children said they enjoyed the porridge, describing it as sweet, delicious and super yummy!

In Forest School, we built bug hotels. Some of the 'hotels' had their first visitors, we wondered how many visitors it would have whilst we are gone.

In Maths our focus has been the composition of 5 and numbers that are 5 and some more. We know that there are 5 fingers on our hand, and we can use our fingers to help find the missing number.

In RE, we have continued to look and talk about the Church.

We enjoyed having PE outside, our word was 'under'. We found lots of ways to show under.

We are starting to recap digraph sounds in phonics, we are building confidence reading and writing the sounds.
