Rainbow - Week 6 - The Police

What a fun week it has been!

In Drawing Club, our focus has been the tale ‘The White Hen and the Fox’ the children had fun coming up with ways the hen can escape from the fox quickly. Our favourite word this week has been ignite!

In Maths we have been looking at how some numbers are made of 5 and a bit more.

In RE we learnt about Lent and Ash Wednesday. The children had great fun making pancake batter, cooking the pancakes and of course eating them! Mrs Gajjar had some lovely activities for the children including making a cross using chalk to resemble the ash.

This week has been all about the Police. During Learning through Play the children loved being able to dress up as the police and role play some investigations. We have quite a few budding police officers!
