Little Red Riding Hood

Our Traditional Tale this week is Little Red Riding Hood. The children have had a go at 'hot seating' this week. They pretended that they were one of the characters in the story and answered questions from the other children.

Our Drawing Club book was Billy and the Beast. Our sentence writing is really improving and we are becoming more independent.

In maths we have been subitising again - especially thinking about what 6 items look like.

In Religious Education we are beginning to learn about the church. The children will be able to tell us all about their church.

We have started learning about different types of mini-beasts. The children went for a mini-beast hunt in the forest, we picked up lots of logs and searched carefully.
