The Three Billy Goats Gruff

This week is a short week but we have plenty to cram in. On Tuesday Zoolab came to class bringing lots of different minibeasts. Have a look at the photographs and see what your child can remember.

Thursday is Ascension Day so we have a mass planned at school and we will be learning more about Ascension Day in our Religious Education lessons and activities.

Our Drawing Club and topic book is The Three Billy Goats Gruff. We have noticed that the children's sentences are really improving but many of the children really need to work on their letter formation. A few are still struggling with finger spaces. The children will be building bridges to get the goats safely across the water. We are also trying to grow some luscious grass - we are not sure how long it will take.

In maths we are still looking at the composition of numbers but will be thinking about how to make the numbers up to 10 using 10 and a bit.
