Sunshine Week 9 - Olivers Vegetables

This week we have been thinking about fruit and vegetables.  We talked about how we could eat a rainbow.  We had a try and some of us were able to eat fruit and veg from all colours of the rainbow.

Ask your child if they were able to eat fruits from each colour of the rainbow.

 

In Drawing Club we had an adventure from the past - Popeye. The children really enjoyed it. 

In maths we have been subitising and looking at groups within an amount. We found lots of different ways to make 7.  We also made collections of 7 items in the forest.

Religious Education was an introduction to the Easter story. We had a go at sequencing the events leading up to Easter Day. We also talked about the things that make us feel sad.

Our PE this half term is ball skills - we are learning to dribble the ball and be in control.
