Sunshine Weeks 10 and 11 Farmer Duck and Easter

The children have really enjoyed our book this week, we used the same book for topic and Drawing Club - we have had some fabulous writing this week.

In maths we have been learning all about doubles, we have enjoyed making doubles on butterflies wings and trying to throw a double with the dice.

We are watching our beans carefully, a few of them have grown roots, shoots and leaves and have been planted into soil and sent home. Unfortunately most of them are taking their time! We hope to send them all home before the Easter holidays.

The children went to see the Year 4 Passion Play, this reinforced the story of Easter which they have been learning about in Religious Education lessons.

We made paint brushes in the forest and tried them out when we got back to the classroom. We also went back to Stream Woods with our Buddies to check for signs of Spring.

As a whole school we had a special Stations of The Cross assembly and a special Easter Mass.
