The Gingerbread Man

Our topic and Drawing Club book for week 5 are The Gingerbread Man. We continue to work on our sentence writing, trying to remember capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.

In maths we are thinking about the magnitude of number, where a number fits on the number line and how it compares to other numbers; is it more, fewer, just a little bit more or lots more?

In Forest School we are making magic wands by wrapping coloured wool around sticks that we find ... be prepared to be turned into a frog when they bring their wand home!

Our Religious Education will be based on Pentecost and the early Christian community.

We will be making gingerbread men and decorating them as well as trying to build boats to take the gingerbread man safely across the river without going soggy.
