13th-24th March The Farm and Tadpole's Promise

Week 10 (The Farm) and Week 11 (Tadpoles Promise)

Sorry but the photographs are a little bit mixed up for the two weeks.

The children have been drawing and labelling maps and then writing their ideas for how The Tadpoles Promise story might end in literacy.

In maths we have been thinking about which numbers are more than others eg 3 is more than 2 and 5 is more than 6. We have also been learning about doubles - we are very good at using our fingers to show doubles and have been looking for doubles on the dice and dominoes.

In Religious Education we learned about The feeding of the 5000 and made our very own bread rolls. I wonder how many they shared their roll with when they got home? We are now thinking about Easter and the events leading up to it.

Forest School involved looking again for signs of spring - we were a little more successful this time! Perhaps Spring is on it's way now.

The children have continued to work on The Rainbow Challenge alongside learning about the lifecycle of a frog, painting daffodils and making Mothers Day and Easter cards.
