The Gingerbread Man
It has been a full and busy week with class photographs, Mass, Mental Health Anxiety Week and reading with our buddies.
The children continue to work on their sentence writing, this week we wrote 'Run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me I'm the Gingerbread Man'. In our phonics we had 5 new tricky words!
Maths has been about 10, ordering and using language to describe where a number comes on the number line. We used the language of before and after and the children found this quite tricky.
Our word for P.E. this week was under, the children had lots of fun with the parachute.
Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who joined us for our stay and read and collective worship. It was a really special time. The staff really appreciate your support.
We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of butterflies - we hope they don't come over the weekend while we are not here.
