People Who Help Us - Firefighters
It has been an extremely busy week, the highlight was the visit from the firefighters on Wednesday. They talked to the children about their job and told the children what they should do if there is a fire in their house. One of the things they asked the children was if they know their address? It is important that they know their door number and road so that they could get help in an emergency - there is a bit of homework for them!
In maths we have made and copied patterns of numbers and played some dice games.
In literacy we wrote about firefighters and their uniforms.
The children are currently doing gymnastics with Mr Syme on a Monday and are really enjoying it.
In Forest School the children had to go and collect 4 items to match the items that I had collected - they are becoming a lot more observant!
