Take a look at some of our recent photos.
Swipe contentThe highlight of the week was our visit from Zoolab (the photographs are under another tab). It was very exciting to see, touch and hold some of the animals,. We learnt so many interesting facts. I hope your child has told you all about it.
In literacy this week we read the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and then attempted to write some words from the story - we use our robot arms to help us separate the sounds. Some of the children have also been writing about the Zoolab visit.
In maths we have been counting up to 20, the children are getting very good at this and most were able to make a collection of 20 things in the classroom. A few children still get mixed up with the numbers between 10 and 20 - you could practise this at home.
In Forest School the children looked for signs of spring and actually found some this time!
In Religious Education we were thinking about the the sadness of the the death of Jesus and the joy of his resurrection.
The PE lesson was all based on the word 'around'.
Our Rainbow Challenges this week were:-
to go on a bug hunt
to make a tower of 15
to label a bean plant
The bug hunts were very popular and we found a variety of minibeasts in the garden. We have been trying to make some mini beasts too.
"We are part of God's family. We follow the way of Jesus by loving, learning and doing our best."
Awards we have achieved so far.
