Mr Gumpy's Outing
Christmas preparations have started this week. Advent stockings are being opened and Christmas stories are being read. There is an air of excitement!
In Literacy the children had a go at drawing and labelling the animals in the story. It is lovely seeing all their learning in phonics being used to segment and write in our literacy lessons.
Maths has been all about recognising, making and continuing repeating patterns - we even managed to us this theme for our paper chains.
In the forest we made our own advent wreath, both classes went into the forest together and they collected hundreds of leaves to help us make a wreath we is now hanging in the forest for all the classes to enjoy.
In our Religious Education lessons we are continuing to learn about the Christmas story; the birth of Jesus and all the excitement that surrounded the occasion.
