30th Jan-3rd Feb - The Police
The Police
This week we have started to think about the Police and how they help us.
We based our writing on the book Cops and Robbers. We made 'Wanted' poster that have been displayed in the school hall. The children are beginning to write short simple sentences and captions.
Our maths has been based on the song Five Little Speckled Frogs - we used the song to help us think about number bonds to 5.
In Forest School we were mark making, we gave the trees faces using chalks.
Alongside these things the children have been fingerprinting (sorry about the grubby fingers), making robbers masks and dressing up and playing 'police'.
Next week we look forward to a visit from the police.
