3rd - 7th October - Friends

Lost and Found - What makes a good friend?

This week we wrote poems about friends in groups, we had lots of lovely ideas. We were planting bulbs and litter picking to care for our world. In maths we were counting very carefully 1:1 just up to five. We counted objects, sounds and big items like trees. We used 'counting sticks' to count the big things. The children have been playing phonics games to help them learn sounds and we have practised writing our names. On Thursday there was a fire drill and the children lines up outside on the grass beautifully. Pen disco was introduced to help with fine motor skills, there was music and disco lights to help us from lots of circles on our page. In Forest School we used natural objects that we found to make faces.
