7th - 11th November - We're going on a bear hunt

We're going on a bear hunt

What a fun week we have had! We have been on bear hunts, talked about our families, made family trees and played family based games. We have learnt that we have 5 fingers on one hand and if we use both our hands 5 and another 5 makes 10 altogether. Children have been writing numbers and making the alphabet as well as creating a band out in the garden. On Thursday we created some artwork based on Kandinsky's 'Squares with Concentric Circles' although we used triangles, squares and rectangles too. They art looks amazing on one of our display boards. We finished the week off with a walk around Streamwoods with our buddies. Thank you so much to the parents who came along to help. We had a brilliant time looking for signs of Autumn. The children have been amazing at learning the three new tricky words this week and the two new sounds.
