Welcome to your child's last term at primary school and what a busy term it will be! We will continue to work hard academically but we will also be spending time helping your child prepare for secondary school. As well as that, we will be celebrating the time they have spent here at St. Philip Howard, however long or short that time may have been.
If you have any questions, I am available by email (rgoss@sphoward.herts.sch.uk) or most days after school.
Thank you for your continued support.
Miss Goss

There are a wide range of challenging activities so have a go and most importantly have fun! Let me know how you get on.

Homework Autumn 2021
We are taking a slightly different approach to homework this year. Children are still expected to read daily, for a minimum of 15-30 minutes, but there will be no weekly or spelling homework. Instead, you will find a Homework Grid with a variety of different tasks uploaded each half term. You can complete as many of these tasks as you want to. Choose something that interests you and please bring in any completed tasks to show me.
Spellings
The statutory spelling lists below are the spelling rules and patterns that your child is expected to know by the end of KS2 (Year 6). In class, we will revise and learn all of these spelling rules and patterns. Your child has their own individual spelling pathway on Spellzone that they should continue to work through independently.
