Easter Holidays

Hello Year 3,

The Easter Holidays are finally here! While you are enjoying your Easter chocolate, here are some home learning activities for you which are just as enjoyable.wink

Thank you for those of you who are blogging and emailing your work- it has been lovely to see how you are getting on and what you are up to. If you haven't been on the blog and need your login details, just email us and we can provide you with them as it would be lovely to hear from you!

Remember, as well as the home learning activities, there are also lots of learning that can be done on MyMaths, Spellzone, BugClub and Times Table Rockstars.

If you, or your parents, have any questions, please email us:

We hope you are keeping well and stay safe!

Best Wishes,

Miss McKeon and Miss Thompson

Easter Activity Bingo

We have come up with some different activities that you can do for if you're a little bit bored or have run out of things to do! You can try to see how many you can complete by the time the Easter Holiday's have finished.

RE

On our 'RE at Home' page, there are links to different activities, projects and crafts for you and your family to take part in this Holy Week and Easter.

RE- Literacy

Write a diary entry as a disciple during Holy Week. You can choose one of the key days to write about:

Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday or Easter Sunday.

Remember to include any key events.

As you are planning your diary entry, think about:

What did you see?

What did you hear?

How did you feel?

What were others around you saying or doing?

Challenge: You could do more than one day or all of them if you wish.

RE - Art & DT

Easter Card

Make an Easter card for your family!

Could you include a quote from the Bible about Easter Sunday on the cover of your card?

(eg - 'He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.' -Matthew 28:6)

Last Supper Craft

Can you design a craft to represent what happened at the Last Supper? The link below shows you how to make one out of egg cartons. If you have your own idea on how to recreate the Last Supper (made out of lego, etc...), please send us in a picture of what you create!

As you are creating this piece, think about:

-What the disciples were thinking and feeling?

-The words that Jesus spoke and where do you hear those words today?

Maths

Remember to log onto MyMaths and finish any tasks you have not yet completed.

Don't forget to brush up on your times tables with TT Rockstars!

Eggciting Easter Maths Competition

Good luck!
