Advice if your child is unwell
What to do if you suspect Covid
Summary of COVID letter to parents from 7.9.20
It is very important that if anyone in your household has COVID symptoms, your child doesn’t come to school until the person with symptoms has a negative test result. Once you get your results, please phone the school office during the day or email me email@example.com if outside school hours.
We have been sending children home if they have any symptoms or if they suddenly become part of Track and Trace or need to self- isolate. We are probably being slightly overcautious at the moment but feel that this is the better way to be.
Please see the attached sheet about what to do if you or any of your family have Covid like symptoms. It is very important that you follow these directions as that is what will keep our school community safe.
If you are not able to book a test online or through 119, please contact the school.
As a school, if we send children home we also contact Primary Health England. They are the ones who tell us what to do next, whether individual classes need to be informed or if additional children need to be contacted.
