We had a walk around Stream Woods with our Year 6 buddies. We were looking very carefully for signs of Spring. There were flowers coming out, trees in bud, blossom, rabbits and squirrels. The storms have had an impact on the woods, we saw lots of fallen tress, we even had to climb over some of them!
We had the opportunity to take part in three different experiments with our Year 6 Buddies. We moved around classrooms. There was a raisin experiment in 6G, a skittles experiment in 6D and we made rainbows in Sunshine Class. There was a chance to have a break, relax and play with our Buddies in Rainbow Class.
There are photographs of two of the experiments. Can your child tell you about all three?
Our buddies came to play today. We had lots of fun inside and out.
The children had lots of fun playing in the forest with their buddies. Some children were more daring than they would usually be as they had the support of their buddies, others found new ways to be creative in the forest. There were lots of games of hide and seek and some made dens or pretend fires.
After a long delay we were finally allowed to meet up with our Year 6 Buddies. They came to our classroom and we were paired up. We played inside and outside with them. The Year 6 children were so kind and friendly - we are looking forward to meeting up again soon.
