The Chosen People

Our topic this half term is: The Chosen People. 

“All men are called to belong to the new People of God. The People, therefore, while remaining one and only one, is to be spread throughout the whole world and to all ages in order that the design of God's will may be fulfilled: He made human nature one in the beginning and has decreed that all His children who were scattered should be finally gathered together as one..." (CCC 831)

• God chose Abraham
• Abraham obeyed God
• Moses
• God's plan for Moses
• Daniel
• Daniel in the Lions' Den

Key Learning Objectives:

• Know that we are chosen by God.
• Know that God chose Abraham.
• Know that God chose Moses to help His people.
• Understand why Daniel had to be brave and trust in God.
