Take a look at some of our recent photos.
Swipe contentWe started our week by reading a funny book about a library. It was called, 'The not so Quiet Library.' We then thought about our favourite books and had a go at copying the front cover. Later in the week we visited Hatfield Library and met the librarians that work there. They read us a story and taught us about the library. It's a super place where you can find lots of books and if you are a member you can borrow them.
In maths we have been looking at digits and recognising numbers to 5 as well as looking at the relationship between the numbers. We built towers of 1 - 5 and discovered that they look like stairs when you line them up in order, each one has one more. It was fun playing the who is hiding game.
After our visit from the firefighters last week we decided we could safely make a fire in Forest School. The children were very good at following the instructions to ensure that they were safe. The adults used the fire to roast some marshmallows which the children really enjoyed eating.
In our special time with God we have been thinking about people who are sick and how we could care for them. We made playdough cakes, flowers, Get Well Soon cards and wrote prayers.
We have continued working on writing words and sentences. It is very tricky but everyone is having a go and some of us are writing on the lines!
It has been a very busy week, and it was lovely to have parents come into the class for stay and read.
"We are part of God's family. We follow the way of Jesus by loving, learning and doing our best."
Awards we have achieved so far.
