Tuesday 8th March Literacy - Being Healthy

Being Healthy

This week we have been thinking about healthy foods. We read 'Handa's Surprise' and made a rainbow fruit salad. We also have lots of vegetables in class and the outside area which we have been painting, painting with and playing with.

In our literacy lesson we talked about instruction words. We have used instruction words to write a recipe for fruit salad.

You can see our writing below. You can see how we have tried very hard to use the sounds that we know to write the words. At this stage we have not learned all the sounds so the children a relying on the sound they do know. It may not all be spelt correctly but if you use your sounds you will be able to read what we have written.
