W/C 13th July 2020

Good morning (for the last time!) Homeschoolers!

Well, here we are, at the end of a very strange academic year.

We would like to say that we have been very pleased with how you have coped these last four months and we are only sorry that we couldn't have completed the year as a whole class.

However, you have lots of exciting things to look forward to, now you are going to year 6.

Make sure that you enjoy next year and make the most of it, whatever it may bring!

We still have work to finish off so no slacking! :)

Maths:

Monday: Regular and irregular polygons

Tuesday: Reasoning about 3-D shapes

Wednesday: Reflection

Thursday: Translation

Friday: MyMaths

English:

This week's spellings are -ed/-ing words. We will set a task on Spellzone based on this task.

R.E.

There will be a combined schools' mass being streamed on the internet and we would like you to participate by watching, reflecting and listening carefully to the homily. More details to follow.

History:

We would like you to research Howard Carter, who discovered Tutankhamun's tomb. We are going to leave you to decide how you want to tell us about what you have found out. The PPT suggests a newspaper report but you could write a diary, create a storyboard, reenact it using photos and props! The decision is yours! Below are the PPT and activity sources that are mentioned in the PPT.
