W/C 15th June 2020

Good morning, Homeschoolers!

Welcome to another week of work!

We would like to give all those children who are continuing with their home learning a huge pat on the back for working hard and getting on! We will be getting in touch with those who have not been logging on to the usual websites. Make sure you have logged on this way or expect a phone call from us!

Maths:

Monday: multiply unit and non-unit fractions by an integer

Tuesday: multiply mixed numbers by an integer

Wednesday: fractions of an amount

Thursday: Using fractions as operators

Friday: MyMaths task

English:

Please complete the work for week 8. You will also have a Spellzone activity to complete as well. Please make sure you are logging in!

Guided Reading

Make sure that you are logging onto Bug Club several times a week. We are monitoring the progress and checking how you are getting on with the comprehension within the books. If you find that you have been allocated the same book again, it will be because you haven't managed to answer all the questions correctly or you have missed some of the questions out.

Religion:

This week, we would like you to read the pages about Islam and answer the questions. We would also like you to recreate the Five Pillars in an imaginative way - try and be creative!

History:

This week, we would like you to make your own papyrus paper.

You will find the instructions below and we would like you to make two sheets - one for this week's activity and one for next week.

When you have made the papyrus, we would like you to create a timeline of events during this period of time.

We would also like to see what else was happening around the world around the same time. You may want to either draw a separate line underneath for the 'Britain and around the World' eras or place on the same timeline but colour code it.

Here is a good starting point to look at:
