Reading
Please read your Bug Club book each day. Don't forget to talk about the story, ask questions and enjoy! As well as your Bug Club books, we really hope that, over this period, you enjoy sharing other books together, too.
Phonics/English
We've attached some phonics sounds to learn during the week. There are also some writing activities, which as we always do in class, insist upon sentences beginning with capital letters, having finger spaces and ending with an end mark (full stop or question mark!). Ask your child, they'll know :)
When they are writing, please also check your child is holding their pencil correctly and forming their letters correctly. Thank you.
Maths
As with English, if you are doing any written number work, please ensure your child is forming their letters the correct way around, both as digits and that two digit numbers are written as tens and ones, e.g. twenty one is 21, rather than 12. Thank you.
Don't forget to check into MyMaths with your new login details and see what is online there.
Religious Education:
Following Jesus; Jesus teaches his disciples how to pray.
Have a go at creating your own prayer.
Learn the 'Our Father'
PE
We will be beginning our day with a bit of Joe Wicks at 9.00. Will you?
Don't forget to do your Daily Mile with your family.
Art
Have you noticed any flowers starting to bloom - maybe a new patch of daffodils are coming up outside? Can you look closely at one and draw it? Then colour it as it is in real life. You could draw another and make it completely different, filling it with other colours or patterns.
