Goldilocks and the Three Bears

I hope that you are enjoying the story, this is our theme for the another  week.

You can watch a simple version of the story here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oaw-d3r_gIc
If you have the story book at home you can read that.

Below is a list of possible activities. You may have your own ideas and please don’t feel that you need to do it all. It may help if you are struggling for things to do.

Please, please please try and read some Phonics Bug books - We can see who has been reading them, some of you have been working very hard!

Literacy Activities.

Look at the Three Bears power point.  It is just pictures. Can your child tell the story? How much detail can they include?

Can you write about the story? They may be able to write a few words, some simple sentences or the whole story. Draw us a picture to go with it.  Send us some photos of their work so that we can put them up for their friends to see.

If they are not keen to do the writing perhaps they could draw a picture and add labels.

Goldilocks and The Three Bears - Can you tell the story?

Creative Activities continued from last week

Make a house for the three bears using recycling or construction.
Draw or paint some pictures of the story.
Make porridge and try it with different toppings.
Could you make a big map (with chalk outside?) showing the woods where the three bears live and Goldilocks house?
Make puppets of the characters.
