W/C 6th July 2020
Dear home learners
Your last full week in Year 4, you have survived ! We are looking forward to seeing you at your class Zoom meeting this week so don't forget to log on ready to join the meeting.
The weather was much wetter last week, but hopefully it will improve and we will have lovely summer weather in the holidays.
Take care and keep going!

Summer Reading Challenge
Good news, even though libraries are closed the reading challenge is still happening. Some of you may have done this before, and it is always good fun. The website has games and challenges and suggests books that you will enjoy. Have a look and join the challenge https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk/
You may even get a medal at the end!
This week you will need to do a little bit of research yourself. We would like you to find out the names of the seven Catholic sacraments. Write a description of each sacrament and draw a picture that symbolises that sacrament.
What is a sacrament ? Why are they important ? You should be able to explain this to someone who asks you.
This week's maths is all about money. Remember to watch the video first and pause it to have a go when they tell you to. On the Friday challenge, questions 1,2,3,4,5 are the most suitable for Year 4 but you can have a go at them all if you want a 'challenge'.
This week we are working through a unit about poetry. It is based around a rap about saving the planet and the children who wrote it have made an excellent video. The resources can be found on the link below:
