Week 10 - 13.11.23
Monday, 13th November 2023 - Odd Socks Day for 'Anti-Bullying' Week.
Maths - This week, we compared sets of objects and recorded symbols more than, equal to and less than. We learned that a 'whole' can be represented by one object; if some of the whole object is missing, it is not the 'whole.
Art - We painted 'The Colour Wheel'. We mixed the primary colours to create the secondary colours; orange, green and purple.
Computers - We practised using a range of tools in digital painting and our task was to draw our own faces with these tools.
We attended an Eco Awareness Assembly and learned about the 3 Rs 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle'.
History - The 1950s. We looked at a range of photographs which showed everyday life in the 1950s. We looked at some photographs of children from the 1950s and we talked about the activities which children got involved in.
Science - Human Senses - We worked with a partner and recorded on a Venn Diagram our similarities and our differences. We used small mirrors to help us in our observations. Some of us came to the front of the class to talk about our recordings on our Venn Diagrams.
