Week 2

Me and my community - We are continuing to learn the routines of the day and remember to use our words and gentle hands. We also have been thinking about our families. We used cubes in math to represent our family. We have been learning to subitise in math that’s knowing an amount without counting. We had a go at spotting amounts during our play. We are very good at subsiding 1 to 3 but 4 and 5 are a little tricky and we still like to count. We have been using stones to make pictures of our family. We had fun meeting and playing with our Year5 buddies, they will spend time with us at lunchtimes during the week. In RE we are been learning about all the things God made. We also had fun doing some art. We looked at the artist Jackson Pollock and created our own Autumn picture inspired by him.
