Week 2- Me and My Family
What a lovely week it has been!
There has been a lot of firsts this week; We went to forest school, had PE with the coaches and even met our new year 5 buddies!
In Literacy, we have been talking about our families. The children used blocks to represent their families, thinking carefully about the sizes of the towers they built. Thank you to those who have sent family photos to me, I have only received from 3 children so far. If you have a family photo that you would be okay with us having up in the class, please send them to naitken@sphoward.herts.sch.uk thank you!
In Maths, we have been subitising (knowing how many by looking, and not counting) 1, 2 and 3.
In RE, we have been learning the sign of the cross. We drew pictures of our families to put on the prayer tree, and we said a prayer for our families.
