Week 4

Our Superhero Families

This week we  read 'Super Hero Dad' and we talked about our own families and what they might do that make them a super hero. We drew pictures and explained why we thought they were a superhero.
This week was a very important week as we were officially welcomed into the St Philip Howard School family.  It can be a little over whelming sitting at the front of the hall filled with all the big children and parents but Mrs James was very proud of the children and their buddies. They did a super job. In our maths we have still been working on subtilising 1,2,3. That is recognising amounts without counting. We used counters and paint to make patterns of 3. Our Religious Education was all about caring for the world that God created and we loved using the litter pickers and sweeping the yard. In PE we practiced climbing and jumping off equipment, developing our balancing skills.
