Week 5- Lost and Found

In Literacy, we read a book called 'Lost and Found'. It was about a little boy and a penguin, and the little boy was a good friend to the penguin. We spoke about what makes a good friend.

In Maths, we have been subitising again, the children are getting very good at subitising 1, 2 and 3! We subitised sounds using our fingers and dot cards.

In Forest School, we collected natural materials on the field and on the playground, and we made faces with them. The children had great fun, and spent ages finding the best materials to create their faces.

In Religious Education, we have been talking and learning about baptism. The children shared their ideas and experiences of baptism. The children enjoyed role playing a baptism. If you have any photos of your children's baptism, please email them to me.

In phonics, we have learnt the sounds for m and d. Please ensure that you are practicing all the sounds at home. We have now learnt s a t p i n m d
