Week 5 The Police

People who help us - The Police

This week we read a story called, 'Cops and Robbers'. Then we made some 'Wanted' poster about the robbers in the story. We attempted writing short captions describing the robbers. We talked about 'cops' which is another name for the police. We talked about what they do and special equipment they use.

In maths we have been thinking about what amounts make five. We sang 'Five Little Speckled Frogs' and then used the stem sentence; 'Five is made from ... and ...'. We started to work out the amount hiding to make a total of five too! It was a little tricky and we still might need some practise.

In forest school we used our drawing skills to make faces on the trees. We have been working hard learning our news sounds ee and igh.
