Week 6

Being a good friend.
This week we have been thinking about how we are good friends and how we can help one another. We read a story about a bear that learnt how to be helpful in his class community. The children dressed in yellow for 'Mental Health Day' on Monday. In  Religious Education we have been thinking about how God made each one of us special. We thought about what makes us special and some of us made crowns to show how special we are. Maths has been about 2, 3 and 4. We made collections of 3 and learned that 1and another 1 makes 2, also that 1 and 1 and another 1 is 3. Finally 1 and 1 and 1and 1 more makes four. This week in PE we practised some throwing and catching and then some Positional language (on, under and next to). In forest school we found something special and said why it was special. We have also been working on out fine motor skills; cutting, threading and pen disco. We also enjoy learning new songs in music, this week we learnt, ‘This old man’.
