Take a look at some of our recent photos.
Swipe contentWe have started our new topic Ready Steady Grow. This week we were thinking about the supermarket, we have been writing shopping lists, we visited Asda in small groups and have thought about how the food gets to the supermarket and where it comes from.
We introduced The Rainbow Challenge - each week there will be challenges that the children can complete in their own learning time. If they complete all the challenges they get a very special sticker at the end of the week. It has been writing shopping lists and finding ways to make 5 this week.
In Forest School we hunted for signs of Spring, we saw some signs but think it might be a little early still. Keep your eyes open as you walk to and from school for signs of Spring.
In our maths we have been using the vocabulary more than, fewer than and equal.
Tuesday was Mardi Gras (Shrove Tuesday) and we celebrated by making masks and parading with the rest of the school at the end of the day.
Wednesday was Ash Wednesday and we had a special service where we all received ashes.
We also started a science investigation using slices of bread. We are trying to answer the question, why do we wash our hands before touching food? We will keep a close eye on our bread in the coming weeks.
In our special time with God, we have started a new topic called Sorrow and Joy. We are thinking about what it means to be sorry.
"We are part of God's family. We follow the way of Jesus by loving, learning and doing our best."
Awards we have achieved so far.
