Week 8 - We're going on a Bear Hunt

The highlight of the week has been starting our 'Drawing Club' which is a new way to bring stories, writing and talk to the classroom. It has been lots of fun, each week we learn 8 new exciting words and base our work around a story or animation. This week it has been The Three Little Pigs.

We have been out around the grounds on a 'Teacher Hunt', we have had a mini bear hunt journey to take our puppets through and we have had bear hunt P.E.

We have been working on our fine motor skills with pumpkins, we deseeded them and then hammered golf tees into the outside.

In Religious Education we have been learning about Diwali and made Diva lamps.

Mathematics has been all about 5 this week.

It may have been a short week but we seem to have fitted so much in.

The children are doing so well with their phonics and their reading, thank you so much for all the time you spend with them reading, practising sounds and playing the Bug Club games - it is really playing off.
