Week 8

This week we were only in school four days but we have been very busy. On Tuesday we walked to St Mary’s Church with our buddies for mass. It was a long walk but we were very good and behaved excellently at mass. In maths we have been focusing on more than and fewer than. We have been have been using sentences to say who has more and who has fewer. We have been listening to the story 'We're going on a bear hunt' and we have been joining in and making actions. The children made their own maps to tell the story. In Religious Education we have been thinking about families and how we are all part of God's family - the Church. On Friday we talked about Bonfire Night and firework safety. We used chalks on black paper to make firework pictures. We also had some children explore with the magnets.
