Week 9- We're going on a bear hunt

This week our drawing club focus has been We're going on a Bear Hunt. The children enjoyed drawing the bear, the cave with all the bear's furniture, and the best part coming up with how the bear can reach the upstairs window. Some of the children have got some great ideas, we had rockets, hot air balloons, springs and ladders to name a few. Our new favourite word this week has been 'flee'!

The children made fireworks this week, and they were very proud of them.

In RE, we have been looking at Rememberence, and we made poppies which will be displayed in the hall. (I will get a picture once it has been finished- it's looking beautiful already)

The key word for maths this week has been equal. We have done lots of sharing, and looking at how we see whether it equal or not equal.

On Friday we are going for a walk in Streamwoods to look for signs of Autumn with our buddies, I will put photos in the Buddy section afterwards.
