Week 9 We're Going on a Bear Hunt

We're going on a Bear Hunt

Our drawing club was based on the Bear Hunt book and we had fun drawing the Bear, his cave with all his furniture, ways the Bear could reach the open window upstairs to get into the house and how the family cross the river and stay dry. The children are beginning to use their imaginations much more. Our favourite new word this week was 'panic'.

It has been a creative week, we made fireworks and fireworks pictures. In Religious Education we were learning about Remembrance and made poppies which have been beautifully displayed in the hall.

Equal has been our key word in maths this week, we have been sharing in small groups and sometimes we made it equal and sometimes we had to make it not equal. On Friday we are going to Streamwoods with our Buddies. The photographs will be in the Buddies section of the website.
