Week 2 Glory be

Hear: The Wise Men visit Jesus (Matt 2:1-12).  Celebrate: The Glory Be is a special prayer

This week we recapped The Three Wise Men visiting Jesus, they were happy that God had given us Jesus. We can give thanks to God by giving glory to him through prayer. A special prayer we can say is the Glory Be. The children listened and repeated with actions. 

1)‘Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit’  - sign of the cross

2)‘As it was in the beginning’ – right hand stretched out

3)‘Is now’ – left hand stretched out

4)‘and ever shall be, world without end’ – make a circle with both hands

5)Amen – hands together
