Week 3 Jesus welcomes the little children

Hear: Jesus welcomes the little children (Mk 10:v16).

This week we heard the story of Jesus welcoming the little children. We heard how the disciples did not want the children to see Jesus and we thought about how that might have made them feel. When Jesus then told the children to come, how would they have felt then? We discussed what it means to feel welcomed and how we can make people feel welcome to nursery. We invited a member of staff to the nursery and made them feel welcome. The children had their photos taken to show how they'd look if they saw Jesus.
