Prayer Focus
Each classroom at St Philip Howard has a prayer table, as well as the staff room and hall, creating a special focus for quiet reflection and worship throughout the day. Our prayer tables are dressed in liturgical colours to reflect the Church’s seasons and are carefully arranged with a cross, Bible, candle, prayer tree and other symbols of faith. They act as a daily reminder of God’s presence in our lives and help to centre our school community in prayer, guiding us to live out our Gospel values in all that we do.
We also create a prayer table in the school playground during the months of October; Month of the Holy Rosary and May; Month of Mary. The children in the chaplaincy team then lead Rosary Services each week through the month to gather as a school community in reflection and prayer.

Prayer Garden
28th June 2010, we opened the school prayer garden. We had a special blessing by Father Mark and Father Philip, with the Marchioness of Salisbury opening the garden during the ceremony.
