Rainbow - Weeks 1 & 2 - Goldilocks and the Three Bears

 Welcome back, we hope you all had a lovely, restful Easter break. This week has been a very quick week!

Our topic this half term will be Traditional Tales, and we will also be thinking about Minibeasts.

Our story this week and next week will be Goldilocks and the Three Bears. 

In Maths we have been thinking about the rules of counting, and different strategies to help us count items correctly. 

In RE, we  spoke about Jesus' resurrection.  We have also been thinking about Pope Francis. We attended an assembly, where we learnt a little bit about who he was. We also went to Mass where we said some prayers for him, and remembered all the good things he did. 

In Forest School, we went on a minibeast hunt. The children really enjoyed this. They were very brave, some of them were holding the minibeasts, remembering to be very gentle.
