Sunshine Summer Term Week 10 - Looking After The Seaside
This week we are thinking about how are seas and coastlines are being spoiled with plastic and rubbish. We read the book Somebody swallowed Stanley which is all about a carrier bag which is floating around in the sea and is eaten by different creatures.
In PE we had planned to practice our races but it was too hot so instead we played a version of Duck, Duck, Goose which we named Drip, Drip, Drench. We had lots of fun and got a little wet.
Our Drawing Club book is Would You Rather. We had to make some difficult decisions. I wonder what you would choose? Would you rather be chased by a crab, a bull, a lion or wolves?
We are very fortunate that the priest is coming to visit us on Thursday. He will talk to us about his role in the church. Hopefully we will think of some questions we can ask him.
In maths we continue to revise the composition of numbers.
