Week 4 - Superhero Dad

This week we will be continuing to think about our families and we will be focusing on our dads. Our topic book is Superhero Dad.

In phonics we will be learning the phonemes p i n. Well done to all the children who already know our first 3 sounds. Please practise daily with your child if they are unsure.

Our Drawing Club book is Penguin. For this first half term we will be doing Drawing Club orally and not yet writing in books. We feel that the children need to work on their fine motor skills, speaking and listening and concentration before they are ready to start working in their Drawing Club books.

We will continue with pen disco, working on prewriting shapes.

On Monday we have a superhero drama workshop from company called perform, you will get some flyers in their book bags to tell you some more.

In Religious Education we will be focusing on the fact that God made us and how unique and special we are.
