Week 3 Sun

This week we read the story Sun. The children talked about why it is important to keep safe in the sun and what we can do to do that. We then explored some of those items. The children had great fun getting their feet wet in the paddling pool and putting 'sun cream' on the babies. We made some pictures using shells to print paint and some real sand pictures. In maths we counted to 10 and practised matching an amount to the numeral. In phonics the children had fun playing Chinese whispers by sounding out a hidden object like c-a-t.
