Nursery week 7 Dear Zoo

In English this week we read the story Dear Zoo. We predicted what animals would be hiding in the boxes and whether we would like these as pets. We then spoke about where we would find different animals in the world and if we had them as pets, how we could care for them. In maths we looked at numbers and went on a number hunt, the children had to find a number then identify it. We also recapped on shapes and how we could use them to make pictures. In Forest School we looked for signs of Spring, finding buds, flowers and listening to lots of birds singing. It was a very wet week, so we took the opportunity to put on our wellies and play in the mud!
